Free Food Pantries Lycoming County

A number of services are run by the Lycoming County Food Pantries. They will of course focus on addressing hunger. They try to provide free groceries, serve meals, and items such as baby formula. The pantries will always have a goal of not turning anyone away empty handed, but this can sometimes be difficult due to donation levels.

In addition to providing free food to working poor families and those living in poverty, many of the  Williamsport, Pennsylvania locations also operate clothing closets, or so called “non-food pantries”. The centers, when available, may provide clients with clothing, winter attire, or small Christmas toys. So the goal of the charity food banks is to not only give applicants the free food they need in an emergency, but also offer them other forms of support.
